Participating in experiments

We are always looking for subjects to participate in locomotion experiments. Subjects are typically asked to complete a series of trials in which they walk on a treadmill. Subjects are paid for their time. We are currently seeking subjects with unilateral trans-tibial amputation for a robotic ankle-foot prosthesis experiment: PDF.

Gait collections are conducted in room 1324 of Wean Hall. If you are driving to campus:
(1) take S. Neville St., e.g. from Fifth Avenue at (A) in the map below
(2) drive through the first parking garage, take the last left uphill, and drive under another building
(3) when you come to an open area, bear slightly left to park in the Gates parking structure
(4) walk back out to the open area, and the lab is on the first floor of Wean Hall, at (B) in the map below.
Participants' parking costs will be reimbursed.
